Laying in the hospital in a coma for 46 days, when she finally opened her eyes they told her that the hepatitis case was very dire and her liver was in the last stage. The Doctors gave her few days to live. She left the hospital to go home and live out her final days. On her death bed but under the care of an Guardian Angel, who rushed around to gather natural plants known for helping liver disease and hepatitis, shortly after Cami arrived home she was cured through homeopathic remedies. Today, Cami is living proof that herbal remedies are the Miracle Herbs of Nature and God. All you need is to believe and have patience. Most of the herbal medicine takes a little time to work but there are little to no side effects.

Excellent overview for children

I bought this book for my seven year old son, in the hope that he would work his way into it over time (recommended age is from 9). He is able to read quite a lot of the text at this stage, with a bit of help. This is great for his reading practice.
Most importantly it is a book he wants to read. The photographs are excellent, and there is more than enough information for him at this stage in development. It is a perfect "Show and Tell" item to bring into the class, with the added bonus that it has a hard binding.
His five year old sister is also very taken with the drawings of the solar system and the planets and moons. It is a book guaranteed to attract the interest of any child.

Beautiful Illustrations and Very Informative

My four year old showed an interest in planets, so I purchased this book as a Christmas present. My husband reads it to him before bed and they discuss it and look at all the pictures. Although the book is sophisticated, my husband and I sometimes only read parts of the book, paraphrase or just examine the pictures. It has only added to his fascination with the planets and space. Well worth the money.

Choose this book! A huge hit with a 5 yr old & 8 yr old

If you're trying to choose between several different books on the solar system, choose this! It's beautiful and intriguing for a five year old, readable for an 8 -10 year old, and educational for folks of all ages. After a little research on amazon, I purchased three solar system/space books for a birthday gift and this book was by far the best received of the three. I have since purchased a couple more. The book is exceptionally well done with broad and lasting appeal.

The photographs are stunning and plentiful, as in a coffee-table book. Nearly every other page features a full-page photograph. The text is readable. The sentences are short and clearly-written, but they're not dumbed down in any way. There are many full pages of text, but all are double-spaced and there is abundant white space around the text, so it's not so dense as to scare off early readers. Everything about the book is child-friendly, but it's not a cute or silly kid's book in any way. I think most adults would find plenty to learn from the text and would appreciate the fact that one doesn't need an astrophysics degree to understand it.

One important note -- it's updated. Pluto no longer gets star billing. Pluto is mentioned as a dwarf or smaller planet, along with Ceres and Eris.

Overall, I highly recommend this book, and I would not hesitate to consider any other collaboration between author Seymour Simon and the Smithsonian Institution.

Great Stata tool for Econometrics

I wish I had this book early on when I started taking Econometrics classes. It is all graphs and their commands. Everything is in color and very easily laid out. This book shows you all the options for each graph as well. Although I learned different commands to fit lines and they were different in the book so it took a little bit to learn how the book is doing it. But hey that's Stata for yuh. I would save all your graphing commands in a do-file for future reference as well.

Love the fact that part of every successive code that is different from the previous one is highlighted with a unique color. So it is easy to find the kind of code you are looking for amidst a sea of graphs that look largely similar. I have just gone through the box plots and it has been very informative.

Excellent Reference Guide for Producing Stata Charts and Graphs

I've found this a very useful book, it has saved me a lot of time in figuring out how to make graphics using Stata for my graduate school work. The book is based on illustrations, many per page. It is clearly laid out and easy to reference, and provides the detailed command strings for every example shown. It is not a statistics textbook or a Stata instructional manual, it is purely a comprehensive guide to producing graphics in Stata.

In a clear, yet informative manner, this book provides the reader with insight into the issues faced by women in family businesses. Then, it helps the reader move from understanding to practice, in a way which is quite accessible. This book is particularly relevant to women in family owned businesses, but is also a useful text for anyone working in, or with people working in, family owned businesses. I highly recommend it.

Overall the book is very informative and a good introduction to the principles of engineering with a concentration on hospitality maintenance. There are a few issues when it comes to listing the correct units in the examples and carrying over the correct values throughout the problem. This is not much of a problem if you are confident in mathematics; however, for someone trying to learn the required physics without prior experience then this book may be frustrating in the beginning.
